Magnet Poetry: "Summertime"

 I am sleepless,
Tossing and turning in bed,
Hungry for the summertime.
I want the morning mist,
Playtime with friends,
The burning sun shining on my tan skin,
The thick evergreen forests near the lake,
Swimming in the sea,
The monstrous thunderstorms and pounding rain,
And, when the day is done,
I gaze longingly at the luminous moon.
This is the summertime I’m yearning for.
